Robert L. Sandelman, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sandelman heads the Los Angeles area office of Sandelman & Associates. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for the company's overall strategic direction and planning, and manages the development of new research programs.

Mr. Sandelman has more than 32 years of marketing and advertising management experience in a variety of consumer product and service industries. He is considered to be one of the leading experts on foodservice market research and is widely quoted in major publications including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, USA Today, Nation's Restaurant News, Restaurant & Institutions, Chain Leader, Entrepreneur, Advertising Age, Adweek, Brandweek, and American Demographics. Mr. Sandelman has also been a speaker at several foodservice industry forums and conferences.

Mr. Sandelman's marketing career began as a Marketing Assistant at General Foods Corporation. From there he moved to The Procter & Gamble Company where he served as an Assistant Brand Manager and later to Hunt-Wesson Foods where he was a Marketing Manager in the New Products Division. Mr. Sandelman left Hunt-Wesson to co-found Tandem Enterprises, a marketing consulting firm, and then later joined Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency where he served as Vice President, Management Supervisor. After leaving Ogilvy & Mather, he worked for General Consumer Electronics, Inc. as the Vice President of Marketing and then later joined keye/donna/pearlstein advertising agency where he was the Vice President, Management Supervisor.

Mr. Sandelman earned both his Bachelor's degree and his Master's degree in Business Administration with high distinction from the University of Michigan.

Jeffrey T. Davis, President

Mr. Davis heads the Dallas area office of Sandelman & Associates. As President, he is responsible for the overall management of the company's day-to-day activities, including sales and marketing programs. He supervises each of the firm's syndicated and proprietary research studies and assists with the development of new research studies.

Before joining Sandelman & Associates, Mr. Davis was the Senior Vice President, Director of Agency Operations at Lord, Dentsu & Partners advertising agency. At Lord Dentsu, Mr. Davis directed the administration of the full service agency and, during his tenure, restructured operations to improve client service and increase profitability. He also managed 20% of the agency's billings for clients such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dole, Nissin, Sanyo, and Security Pacific Bank. As head of the KFC account, Mr. Davis was in charge of KFC's western regional advertising program where he supervised the development and execution of the marketing plans for local KFC co-ops.

Mr. Davis has also worked as an Account Executive at Doyle Dane Bernbach advertising agency, an Account Representative with CWO&O National Newspaper Representatives, and as a Sales Representative with the Jeffrey Manufacturing Division of Dresser Industries.

Mr. Davis graduated cum laude from the University of Utah where he received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.

Paul Clarke, Director of Marketing

Mr. Clarke heads the Chicago area office of Sandelman & Associates, where he manages the firm's marketing program, including direct marketing, Web and E-marketing, public relations and national sales.

Mr. Clarke has over 15 years of food and foodservice marketing communications experience. Before joining Sandelman & Associates, he was a Vice President at Ketchum and prior to that was Director of Marketing at Technomic, Inc., where he managed marketing and corporate communications for the highly respected food and foodservice consultancy. At Technomic, he developed and promoted several existing and successful new products, including proprietary consulting services and industry trend reports. Prior experience includes key management positions at Magnet Communications marketing agency, and ProVisions public relations agency.

Mr. Clarke also was editor and co-publisher of Chef magazine, a national foodservice trade magazine, and was managing editor of the Food Channel. In addition, he authored the book Lessons in Excellence from Charlie Trotter, which has been recognized by several key publications, including the New York Times, Newsweek, Restaurants & Institutions, Chicago Sun-Times and more.

Mr. Clarke earned an MBA and a bachelor of arts, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.

Roberta Long, Senior Research Manager

Ms. Long heads the Atlanta area office of Sandelman & Associates, where she is responsible for managing selected proprietary research projects and analyzing the results of key research studies.

Before joining Sandelman & Associates, Ms. Long work for AFC Enterprises where she managed the consumer research department at Church's Chicken based in Atlanta. While at Church's, she conducted and supervised a wide variety of projects including concept and product testing, test market tracking, and strategic research. Prior to joining AFC, Ms. Long worked as a marketing research analyst in the banking industry in Atlanta where her responsibilities included customer satisfaction research and custom studies. She also has experience in consumer packaged goods from her tenure as a research analyst at Kraft Foods in Chicago.

Ms. Long graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina where she received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance. She also holds a Masters of Market Research degree from the University of Georgia.
