REPORTS-ISSUESANSWERS
Got a question? We’ve got the answer! A key issue? We can help you address it quickly and efficiently. Just tell us your specific information need and we will tap into our comprehensive databases to get the answer. Whether it’s simple or complex, we can help.
Sandelman & Associates has an enormous database of information that has been collected from consumers over the past several years. This includes more than 100,000 telephone interviews that are conducted each year across three key awareness, usage and attitude syndicated tracking studies – Quick-Track (covers fast-food & pizza chains), Family-Track (family-dining chains) and Casual-Track (casual dining chains). In addition, data is available from more than 125,000 RestaurantPoll on-line surveys that have been submitted by over 30,000 panelists over the past five years. RestaurantPoll panelists rate restaurants they have visited recently on a variety of key attributes, as well as advertising and promotions they have seen recently for restaurant chains.
Here are some examples of the types of questions or issues we can answer quickly and efficiently:
- What are the trends in awareness and usage levels for Chain A in 4 expansion markets where the chain has been adding units? How do these levels compare to 4 established markets where the chain’s unit penetration has been stable?
- Which chains have the largest proportion of their occasions at lunch? At dinner? Which chains have enjoyed an increasing lunch business?
- How much are breakfast customers paying per visit at Chain B and how does it compare to breakfast tickets at competitive chains? How does it vary by the customer’s demographics?
- Which chains have the most satisfied customers – those who rate their last occasion as “excellent”? Which specific attributes are most highly rated by these satisfied customers?
- Which chains are rated best and worst on specific attributes, such as cleanliness? Which have declined the most over the past few periods?
- What are the demographic characteristics of the most frequent users of Chain X? How do they compare with the chain’s least frequent users, the lapsed users and the trier-rejectors? How do they compare with the best customers of Chain Y, Chain Z, etc.?
Most custom reports can be downloaded as Excel files. PowerPoint slides can also be developed. Reports can also be printed and shipped.
